Description
This event is organized by the Student Philanthropy Organization (SPO) at Indiana State University. Our initiatives on campus include giving back through donations, time, and support to the students and community at Indiana State University. We focus on creating a culture of philanthropy by encouraging students to get involved in events that support the university and its community. It is all about making a positive impact and fostering a spirit of generosity and connection!
The donations for this race will be utilized by the Indiana State University Counseling Center and help fund different needs for the students on Indiana State's campus. This center on campus provides students at Indiana State with confidential counseling, guidance, and different wellness resources to help adapt to the college life. Their initiatives are to help student on campus thrive in their academic, personal, and social lives. This center is not just for crisis counseling, but also to help student adjust to college life here at Indiana State. The Counseling Center offers one-on-one sessions and group support for everyone on campus.
The donations from this race will help to relieve the cost of some therapy sessions for students at Indiana State.
There will be prizes for the top 3 finishers for the 1-mile race and the 3-mile race.

Location: The Indiana State University Fountain
Cost: $10 for ISU Students, $25 for Faculty/Staff/Community Members, $50 for groups of 6, and $100 for groups of 12
