Business 361 Marketing Project for P.I.N.K of Terre Haute
Business 361 Marketing Project for P.I.N.K Of Terre Haute
Each semester, students in the Business 361 – Principles of Marketing at Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business put classroom concepts into action through a community engagement project. This hands-on initiative allows students to apply the Four P’s of Marketing—Product, Price, Place, and Promotion—while making a meaningful difference in the Terre Haute community.
This semester, the class has chosen to support P.I.N.K. of Terre Haute, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and helping families affected by breast cancer. Students collaboratively voted to sell custom-designed tumblers, featuring a student-created logo and slogan, with the proceeds supporting P.I.N.K. at the end of the semester.
Local businesses and community members are invited to support this student-led initiative. Each gift of $100 helps fund the purchase of inventory and materials, allowing students to maximize their fundraising impact. Donors will be recognized for their contribution, and the project will culminate with a check presentation to the Director of P.I.N.K. of Terre Haute.
This project not only strengthens students’ understanding of real-world marketing strategy and corporate social responsibility but also highlights the power of community partnerships in supporting an important local cause.
Join us in empowering future business leaders and making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
